Where the team fits inÌý

The SeniorÌýProduct Manager sits within the Customer Group focusing on the Commercial market in the Advertising Portfolio. Within the Commercial AdvertisingÌýportfolio, the remit of this role will include strategy, discovery and delivery of enhancements to the core products, pricing and packaging. This includes the core advertising, extension products, agency service and marketplace experiences.Ìý

At the core of what we do, the Commercial AdvertisingÌýteam helps agents and agencies sell and lease commercial property on our flagship experience by providing solutions to address a variety of needs. Our Product Solutions are focused around: Ìý

  • Core Search: Products to target active buyers in the core realcommercial.com.au search experienceÌý

  • Premium Positions: Products to stand out in the market by putting the property and brand ‘front & centreâ€� to an active audienceÌý

  • Offsite Audience: Products that target the right audience when they ²¹°ù±ð²Ô’t on realcommercial.com.au (web, socials, email)Ìý

  • Agency Marketplace: Products that help agents generate new leads and promote their performance to consumersÌý

  • Agency Services: Platform and API solutions which make it easier for customers to do business with usÌý

What the role is all aboutÌý

  • Leading discovery and analysis on evolving our advertising offering with a focus on pricing and packaging You will need to partner closely with pricing, marketing, sales and other key functionsÌý

  • Review the existing product portfolio and analyse data to optimise and find growthÌýopportunitiesÌý

  • Leading the product changes taking into consideration the technical system impacts, experience changes and customer journey across multiple touch pointsÌý

  • Leading the discovery on evolving our advertising, agency services and marketplace offering with new consumer and customer features to drive undeniable value for customers. You will need to partner closely with design, delivery, marketing, sales and other key functionsÌý

  • Bring a commercially minded view to the product discovery process, understanding leyu¡¤ÀÖÓã(Öйú)ÌåÓý¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾â€™s business model and market dynamics of agents and agenciesÌý

  • Building the roadmap for your squad to deliver on the highest value initiatives through partnering with other dependent teams across the GroupÌýÌý

  • Keep a watchful eye on competitors, market changes, potential partners, developing predictions on how the market is changing and helping define where Commercial AdvertisingÌýneeds to be positioned in the futureâ€�Ìý

  • Build close relationships with customers, our sales and operations teams to ensure our products meet market needsÌý

  • Build and maintain relationships across different functions and teams to leverage group capabilities to ensure successful delivery of your product plansÌý

Who ·É±ð’r±ð looking forÌý

  • Strong commercial acumen â€� you will need to be comfortable talking numbers. 5+ years' experience within pricing and packaging approaches with the capability to evaluate opportunities on a risk and return basisÌý

  • Someone with a few runs on the board â€� 5+ years Product Management/Product Development experienceÌý

  • Comfortable managing large, complex programs of workÌý

  • Strategic thinker â€� you can analyse and synthesise information on the market and connect the dots to determine an appropriate strategic approach whilst taking a whole business perspective.ÌýYou experience following these strategies through to benefit realisationÌý

  • Comfortable moving between strategy and detail on a regular basis. You will also be comfortable managing and optimising existing products, and working through small details like specific product rulesÌý

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills. You can talk shop with the developers, chat with customers and pitch a business case to executivesÌý

  • Customer focus â€� you will be very comfortable being close to customers, understanding their challenges and both their known and unarticulated needsÌý

  • Product marketing â€� you have a strong ability to craft a compelling value proposition and work as ‘partnerâ€� with marketing, sales and support functions to deliver product to marketÌý
