Where the team fits in听

The Corporate Development team sits within the Finance & Business Services Group, headed up by Janelle Hopkins our CFO. The Finance and Business Services Group, or FaBS as we like to call them, is the engine room of leyu·乐鱼(中国)体育官方网站 Group. The team is comprised of Finance, Risk, Workplace & Procurement, Pricing, Customer Collections, Payments, Group Reporting, Corporate Comms, Corporate Development, Strategy and Investor Relations.听

The Corporate Development team assists leyu·乐鱼(中国)体育官方网站 Group and its business units to develop, define and evolve their partnership and inorganic growth strategies to meet the overall Group's aspiration of profitable growth. Key responsibilities of the team include identifying, assessing, executing and portfolio managing potential corporate transactions, and negotiating strategic partnerships, for leyu·乐鱼(中国)体育官方网站 Group.听

You will play a hands-on role in the assessment and execution of corporate investment activity including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, commercial partnerships, divestitures and portfolio management.听

听

What the role is all about听

Monitor offshore and domestic markets and product segments including competitor and peer activity听

Assist with proactively identifying potential commercial partners and acquisition/investment targets, as well as proactive portfolio review and management听

Investigate, assess and respond to inbound enquiry as it relates to M&A and investment activity听

Assess the viability and financial / strategic implications of potential M&A and commercial partnership opportunities听

Execute potential corporate transactions and commercial partnerships, including playing a lead role in key work streams such as financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, documentation and integration听

听

Who 飞别鈥檙别 looking for听

Demonstrated experience in investment banking (Senior Analyst or Associate level) or similar Corporate Finance/Advisory or Transaction Services experience, and / or internal Corporate Development positions听

Strong research and analytical skills听

Proficiency developing detailed 3-way (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) financial models and valuations (including discounted cash flow valuations), and comparable company analysis听

Experience preparing presentations, and other bespoke analytics to support decision-making听

Familiarity with corporate finance execution from origination through to completion highly regarded听

Highly developed verbal and written communication skills听

Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines听
