Where the team fits in听

The Commercial Finance team sits within the Finance & Business Services Group, headed up by Janelle Hopkins our CFO. The Finance and Business Services Group, or FaBS as we like to call them, is the engine room of leyu·乐鱼(中国)体育官方网站 Group. The team is comprised of Finance, Risk, Workplace & Procurement, Pricing, Customer Collections, Payments, Group Reporting, Corporate Comms, Corporate Development and Investor Relations.听

The Commercial Manager for Financial Services Investments is a newly created role to support the management and reporting of investments in Athena and Simpology as well as support for M&A activity. This role will be pivotal in modelling new products and supporting the Mortgage Choice and Athena partnership.听

听

What the role is all about听

Compiling month end reporting of performance of investments and partnerships against budget and forecast听

Review ongoing monthly capital funding requirements for Athena partnership听听

Review of acquisitions against business case with detailed analysis of where any under / over performance has occurred and why听

Actively participate in, review, validate and provide commercial guidance on business cases for new products & initiatives听

Support due diligence for any M&A activity understanding the impact to Financial Services strategy and financials听

Support in the facilitation of problem solving and prioritisation discussions across multiple stakeholders听

Budgeting and forecasting share of profits or losses from Financial Services Investments in Athena and Simpology, flagging any risks or opportunities before they arise听听

Support the annual strategy and planning process听

Extract and analyse data from multiple systems to meet group reporting requirements听听听

You will work with key stakeholders across leyu·乐鱼(中国)体育官方网站, Athena and Simpology and share insights back to the Financial Services leadership team听

Runs on the board 鈥� professional experience with preference for banking / mortgage broking experience听

Strong influencing skills and communicator with the ability to drive commercial outcomes听

Experience in M&A due diligence is highly desirable听听

Highly commercial astute and analytical听

Experience in driving change, and able to navigate complexity and ambiguity to drive successful outcomes听

First class communication 鈥� written, verbal and presenting skills听

Experience working in an agile fast paced environment听

Cross functional understanding and ability to collaborate in a complex, fast paced business听
