1 Your recruitment experience
We want you to feel comfortable, supported and empowered to share your background and showcase your skills and experience in the ways that work best for you. 2 Time to share
For your first interaction you can choose to meet with us face-to-face, via Zoom, through a phone call, or in a written questionnaire. This step is for us to learn about your skills and experiences, answer your questions, and get a sense for how you鈥檇 find your place within the team
3 Let鈥檚 get practical
For some roles at leyu·乐鱼(中国)体育官方网站, we鈥檒l want to see you showcase your practical skills. This might include a task for you to complete at home, with us in person, with us remotely or something else altogether. We just want to see you do your best work 鈥榦n the tools鈥�. What happens once you apply?

Consider these tips when preparing your application
- Keep things concise
When you鈥檙e looking to land an exciting new role, it鈥檚 tempting to list everything you鈥檝e ever done, learned, and accomplished. We get it; you鈥檙e out to impress. Remember though, a longer document isn鈥檛 necessarily more impressive, especially at this early stage. Find ways to tell a concise story and highlight why you鈥檙e well suited to the specific role you鈥檙e interested in. There are no hard or fast rules for the length of your application. That said, if you鈥檙e pushing double-figure page length, it might be a sign to pare things back. Two or three pages is usually a safe bet.
- Put some personality on the page
A great application outlines the story of your career, but it should also offer a sense of you as a person. Find ways to show us who you are, bring your unique personal story to life, and give us an insight into what makes you鈥ou. You could write a cover letter, include a short introduction as part of your CV to highlight your personal story, or something else entirely. Don鈥檛 be afraid to think outside the box; we鈥檙e a creative team and we love to expect the unexpected.
- Be true to your skills and expertise
If you鈥檙e trying to find ways to trim your content, focus on the skills you can discuss in depth rather than every capability you鈥檝e ever briefly dabbled in. Look for ways to highlight the work you have done with these skills. This approach will be helpful in the interviews: for us, because we can hone in on your unique expertise, and for you, because there won鈥檛 be any awkward silences if we ask about a skill you鈥檙e relatively new to.
- Write your application specifically for the role
Some teams and roles will value certain skills and experiences differently to others. Think about how you can tailor your application to speak more directly to the role you鈥檙e interested in. A small amount of effort here can be a great way to show your enthusiasm and commitment to the position. Attention to detail is key to make sure the right resume is submitted for the right role. We all love a good template, however please double check all the content before you hit submit on your application!
- Consider the order and arrangement of your career history
Try to list your career history with the most recent roles first, then go back chronologically through relevant roles from there. The faster we can find your most relevant career history, the better. What happens in the interview stage?
The interview process will change slightly depending on the role you鈥檙e interested in, but generally speaking, there are usually around three different interviews. Why? We鈥檙e interested in getting to know you. We love to chat about your skills, your personality, your story, and why you鈥檇 like to join the team. It鈥檚 a lot to cover off, but it鈥檚 all crucial information. At the same time, it鈥檚 important that you have ample opportunity to get to know us too. This process is a two-way street after all.
Your first conversation is usually a phone interview. It鈥檚 a ~20-40-minute call to follow up on your written application and have a chat about your general career history and aspirations. Some roles will also include a brief online survey; it鈥檚 a quick exercise where you choose a series of words that best describe you. This helps us get an early sense of your workplace related motivators, your preferred work style and how you might fit within the team which helps to inform the questions we ask you. From there, you鈥檒l move through your interviews.
In most interviews, you鈥檒l be joined by at least two people from throughout leyu·乐鱼(中国)体育官方网站 Group. This is a great way for you to meet different people throughout the team or business, and helps you get a sense of who we are and how we work together. Consider these tips when preparing for interviews
- Use examples when you talk to past experience
If you contributed to a recent project, or solved an interesting client or customer problem, be prepared to tell us all the details. If you worked on the research, design, development, go to market or sales strategy of a specific app, website, or product, we鈥檇 love to hear about it.
Your professional experience is always more compelling with specific context. Take the time to prepare your examples before the interview: it鈥檚 typically much easier than thinking on the spot.
If you can鈥檛 provide us with a specific example from your experience, we鈥檇 still like to understand how you鈥檇 hypothetically approach the scenario.
- A little bit of research goes a long way
The more you know about what we do, who we do it for, and why, the better. For example, if you鈥檝e used our web or mobile apps, we鈥檇 love your feedback on them. If you鈥檙e passionate about user experience, tell us what you think of our products. Find ways to demonstrate that you understand our customers, highlight how you might provide value in your role, and help us change the way the world experiences property.
